Led by our team of experienced and certified instructors, this immersive training experience is tailored specifically to the unique challenges faced by you.



What you'll learn

Key learning goals include:

  • Familiarity with international distress signals, emergency communication procedures, and relevant maritime regulations.
  • Recognizing potential hazards on board a vessel, including weather conditions, cargo types, and operational risks, and assessing the severity of potential emergencies
  • Knowing the ship's emergency response plan, including roles and responsibilities of crew members during different emergency scenarios.
  • Proper use of emergency communication systems, clear and concise reporting of incidents, and maintaining communication with relevant authorities.
  • Basic first aid skills, proper use of life-saving equipment like life rafts, life jackets, and emergency survival gear.
  • Understanding fire classifications, proper use of fire extinguishers, and fire containment strategies on board a vessel.

Who is this course for?

Anyone who may have direct involvement with an incident or needs to have certain knowledge of ERS, whether shore or ship based.
